ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Like all types of photography, engagement photos tell a story. The unique part about engagement photography is that the story is always a love story. The story can consist of a couple's past experiences, their shared interests, and their shared future. I find that engagement photos are a wonderful way to start the narrative for the wedding coverage. Where wedding photos celebrate the 'I do', engagement photos celebrate the 'I will'. Engagement photos are a wonderful way to incorporate the activities and places that are important to a couple that cannot be shared on their wedding day. For this reason, I find that engagement sessions allow for a more intimate and unique experience for the couple. Bridal photos also allow for unique photo opportunities because they are taken outside of the confines of the wedding. They are taken in a place that is personal for the bride without the time restrictions of the wedding day.

Engagement sessions start at $150 and include Hi-Resolution files, Release of Rights, and password-protected gallery. All photos are available for viewing and purchase within 10 days of the session with digital-only packages shipped within 14 days of the event. Packages with proof prints and enlargements are shipped within 28 days of the session. All printed material and products are archival quality and produced from various professional labs across the United States.

All engagement sessions are created at your location(s) of choice. I like to insure that every couple receive engagement photos that are truly unique and personal. The location can tell just as much about the couple as any other element of the photos. This can be where you first met, where you spent time together, a first house, or anywhere that is special to you.

All engagement sessions are at least one hour long. This allows for multiple wardrobe changes and multiple photos in different scenes. The extra time also allows for adding in pets and activities to the session to make it more unique.

Most wedding packages come with an engagement session. Engagement photos are a great way to start telling your love story. They make for wonderful visual memories that are shared throughout the years.

All sessions come with high resolution digital copies and also a release of rights. This allows for printing and sharing of your favorite memories. I also provide professional printing services including canvas and metal printing options.

All engagement sessions come with your own password protected gallery. This allows for easy viewing and sharing of your photos with the people that matter most.

All sessions are edited and delivered to the client ready for printing and sharing within 14 days of the session.

All sessions come with both hi-resolution and low-resolution images for printing and sharing.

All sessions come with a selection of specialty edited photos for sharing and printing (10-20 images).

Bridal portraits can be substituted for engagement photos in any wedding package. They can also be added to any wedding package if you want engagement photos and bridals.
