Taylor and Jeff got married in December of 2017 at Koury Farms in Auburn, GA. We were able to do the detail shots and getting ready shots of the girls before the guys arrived. This was important to do at the start of the day since Jeff had not seen Taylor's dress yet and I wanted to make sure that all of those shots were completed before the guys showed up. Both Jeff and Taylor wanted to keep the wedding traditional by not doing a first look, however we did do a first reaction of Taylor with her dad. You could tell that he was a big teddy bear when it came do his daughter... He instantly had to fight back tears as soon as he saw here in her wedding dress. We did all of the photos of the bridal party before some 'around the corner' shots of Jeff and Taylor prior to the ceremony.
Everyone lined up and we all got to see Jeff's intake of air when he saw his soon-to-be wife for the first time walking down the aisle. Their minister read a poem that he wrote for the couple on their wedding day and you could see that they couldn't take their eyes off of each other. It made for some fantastic shots. After the ceremony, we finished up the last few family photos and worked with the entire wedding party before doing photos of the bride and groom around the property. Soon after, they were announced to the reception and went straight into their first dance. The parent dances followed with Taylor's mom now having to fight back tears as she watched Taylor dance with her dad. Even the groom-mother dance was special as Jeff's twin brother took the opportunity to bring Taylor back out onto the dance floor towards the end of their dance. Everyone took time to eat and we went outside for a few quick photos around the side of the barn at night. After the cake-cutting and the toasts, the dance floor opened up for the rest of the guests. The garter and bouquet toss signified that the night was coming to an end. Everyone lined outside for the sparkler exit and Jeff gave Taylor one more big kiss before they left for their honeymoon...
