Meghan and Nick got married at Reid barn in July of 2016. Their wedding was one of the more memorable weddings of 2016 for me. The day started like most other weddings with getting ready photos in the bridal suite. After Meghan got dressed, we worked on the bridal party photos before switching over to the guys photos. And the guys... well, they knew how to have fun. I believe that they were all (or mostly) from the same fraternity at Auburn and they kept things fun and funny throughout the day. We finished up the guys photos and went back inside to cool down again (did I mention that it was a July wedding?). Meghan and Nick exchanged notes just prior to the ceremony and everyone lined up for the processional.
I love seeing the grooms face light up when he sees his bride for the first time on the wedding day... After the wedding we went outside for a couple of quick photos prior to the quick summer shower that was brewing. We managed to stay dry and get some great photos around the venue before heading back inside for dinner. Once the bride and groom sat down to eat, the coordinator ran up to me saying that a rainbow had just appeared over the pond. We ran outside to capture a couple of photos before it disappeared into the late afternoon light. Even though it only lasted for a few minutes, it created one of my favorite photos from 2016. Soon after the rainbow photos, the reception started in proper with the cake cutting and first dances. After that, the dance floor opened up and we got to see the Auburn crowd come out to dance and party! The crowd danced into the night and fun was had by all (especially the wedding party). Everyone hung around to send the bride and groom off in style during their sparkler exit...
