Alex & Logan

Alex and Logan got married at the Whitlock Inn in Fall of 2019. The Whitlock Inn is located in Marietta, GA and offers a beautiful indoor reception hall along with a gorgeous back garden/patio for wedding ceremonies. The day started with the bridal party getting ready off-site, before everyone traveled to the Whitlock Inn. Soon after arriving, we opted to go ahead and do the first look for Alex and Logan. It rained intermittently throughout the wedding day, so we photographed under cover when we had to and moved further out to the open patio space when the rain let up slightly. The entire wedding party joined us and we were able to finish the vast majority of formal photos prior to the wedding. After formals were completed, we lined up everyone for the wedding ceremony… There was still a slight drizzle, however Alex was determined to have her wedding outdoors. Luckily, the rain held off just enough to make it through the ceremony before the bottom fell out. We went back indoors for a couple of additional photos before setting up for the reception start. Their reception was pretty low-key with dances, speeches, and a cake cutting. We were even able to sneak outside for a couple of additional specialty shots of the two of them together once the rain subsided. By the end of the reception, only the core group of friends was remaining. Instead of a formal exit, they decided to spend every last-minute dancing with their friends celebrating new beginnings…
