Christine and John got married at St Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in fall of 2020. Their wedding was one of those days that really needed the unlimited coverage since we were essentially in three different locations throughout the day (Lake Lanier Islands for getting ready, St Mary Coptic Orthodox Church for the ceremony, and back to Lake Lanier Resort for the reception). Needless to say, it was a long (but fun) day. After getting ready at the cottages at Lake Lanier, we traveled to the church for the Orthodox Coptic wedding (john’s family was Egyptian). This was my first experience with a Coptic wedding and the ceremony lasted nearly 90 minutes. After the wedding, we traveled back to Lake Lanier Resort for the wedding reception. After the couple was sent off from the reception, I met back up with the two of them to do some special night time portraits on the golf course in the dark… Their wedding was certainly one of those days that sticks with you…
