John and Haley got married at the Marietta First Methodist Church in November of 2016. I love it when the groom actually sheds a tear (or two) during the first look. I'm always a big fan of physical emotion (It always increased the drama of the photo). Both the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready at the Hilton Conference Center in Marietta that afternoon and we started our formal photos there prior to leaving for the church. More tears were shed during the note exchange at the church and during the bride's special prayer with her mother and bridesmaids prior to lining up for the ceremony. Marietta First Methodist Church has a unique photography policy that only allows photography from the ground level during the processional and recessional (the ceremony had to be photographed from the balcony). I stayed below to get the last few photos of Haley with her dad while walking in before I ran upstairs. Again, it was a frantic rush back downstairs to get the best processional photos of them after the kiss. After the ceremony, we did a few more photos around the church of the wedding party before going back to the Hilton Conference Center for the reception. More emotions, plenty of dancing , funny toasts, cake, and a wild crowd made for great reception photos. As much fun as it was, all good thing must come to an end... The crowd hung around to send the newlyweds off with style for their sparkler exit...
