Jennifer & Colby

Jennifer and Colby got married at the Carl House in 2018. One of my favorite parts about their wedding was how they incorporated their dog into the ceremony and photos. Everything started pretty normally with hair and makeup photos along with detail shots for the day. After that, I got Colby ready for the first look and we brought Jennifer out into the gardens. They rocked the first look and we quickly transitioned to photos of the entire wedding party. We were able to wrap up everything before the start of the ceremony. One of my favorite parts about the Carl House is the long walkway for the bride during the processional… It allows for me to get shots of her and dad in the garden area as well as within the aisle for the ceremony space. But before Jennifer could come, first was the ring bearer…. Their dog served as the ring bearer for their wedding and you could just tell that he was full of personality… As soon as the wedding was finished, we did some additional photos of the couple including the ring bearer… They had quite a few ideas of how to include him along with the photos. We transitioned into the reception for first dances and speeches… After the cake cutting, “Rocky Top” came on and all of the bridal party jumped up with orange flags to get the dancing started. Everyone danced into the night until it was time for the sparkler exit...
