Michaela and Evan got married at the Conservatory at Waterstone in Acworth, Georgia. We started the day at the hotel as the bridal party finished up on the last bit of hair and makeup. Once we arrived at the Conservatory, I did some quick photos of the dresses while the bridal party opened the champagne. To minimize the amount of time between the end of the ceremony and start of the reception, both Michaela and Evan decided to do a first look. We did the first look right on the sidewalk in front of the Conservatory and transitioned to the ally beside the venue for additional photos. Once all of the wedding party photos were completed, we got setup for the ceremony. The highlight for me at the ceremony was Evan’s friend who served as the minister. He introduced a little bit of humor in the wedding and kept everyone all smiles throughout. After the ‘I dos’ we did a few additional photos along the sidewalks around Acworth. There are a couple of beautiful Coca-Cola murals that always photograph well, however traffic is always a concern when looking for the best shot. We were able to get a few photos in front of the mural before entering the reception space. Their reception was gorgeous with friends and family dancing (with glow sticks). We went out for a couple of night time portraits on the sidewalk near the Conservatory and transitioned to the garter and bouquet just before the sparkler exit. They didn’t have an exit vehicle since their hotel room was just around the corner from the reception, so the last shot was of the two of them walking off into the night…
