Lauren & Jason

Lauren and Jason got married at the Wheeler House in May of 2017. The Wheeler house is one of those beautiful locations where there are a lot of photographic opportunities without having to walk too far to get the best shots. Everything is relatively close together, which opens up more opportunities for photography. Lauren got her hair and makeup ready at her dad's house a few miles from the Wheeler house. She traveled to the Wheeler house to get dressed when Jason arrived for the first look. We did the first look and transitioned to the couple portraits around the front of the house and with their getaway vehicle. Did I mention how much I love unique getaway cars? Their getaway car was the bride's father's old Ford pickup truck. I loved the contrast of the warm earth tones against the blue paint of the truck. We went ahead a worked with the full wedding party and got ready for the wedding ceremony. The Wheeler house has a beautiful outside space for weddings with a unique arbor to walk under at the end of the aisle. I love using it as a framing asset for the ceremony shots. The reception started soon after the ceremony and we went directly into the first dances. More dancing, more portraits, more food, and the whole lot of friends and family made for the perfect reception. At the end of the night, Lauren and Jason walked through the sparklers and rode off in the back of that old Ford...
