Kelsey and Justin got married at the Engine Room in October of 2019. The Engine Room is a large industrial warehouse-turned wedding venue located in Monroe, GA. It offers warm tones and has an antique industrial feel to it. Their wedding was somewhat unique in the fact that their rehearsal was practiced on the morning of the wedding day… So, Justin and the rest of the wedding party got in a couple of practice runs for the ceremony while Kelsey continued getting ready downstairs. It rained all day for their wedding, however there was plenty of open space for the first look and formal photos of everyone comfortably inside the warehouse. They had close friends playing piano and singing for their ceremony and one of the groom’s best friend (a comedian) officiated their big day. Since were able to do so many photos prior to the ceremony, we were able to transition to the reception quite quickly. Their reception was full of fun and laughter as friends took turns giving toasts and the dance floor was full nearly the entire evening. Briefly, the rain let up for a few minutes, and Kelsey knew that she wanted an actual exit photo for her big day. We lined up everyone outside and had a wonderful sparkler exit before telling everyone to turn around because the party wasn’t done yet! The garter and bouquet toss signaled that the night was coming to an end and the last song had friends and family surrounding the newlywed couple to celebrate their new life together.
